Shelf life: Unopened ampoule: 18 months.
After first opening: The product should be used immediately after opening the ampoule.
After dilution: Chemical and physical in-use stability of a 5.0 mg/ml and 0.1 mg/ml solution (diluted with sodium chloride 9 mg/ml (0.9%) and glucose 50 mg/ml (5%) solution for infusion) has been demonstrated for 24 hours at room temperature exposed to room light in PE.
From the microbiological point of view, the product should be used immediately. If not used immediately, in-use storage times and conditions prior to use are the responsibility of the user and would normally not be longer than 24 hours at 2 to 8°C, unless dilution has taken place in controlled and validated aseptic conditions.
